We took our first family vacation to San Antonio and Austin. One of the days we spent at the San Antonio Zoo. It seemed to be real nice, with lots of animals and nice landscaping. I think I got a few pics that are pretty cool.

Mother's Day was great. In the middle of a couple months of constant rain we got one day of sun and decided to take advantage of it.

Isaiah Daniel Wright was born this morning at 7:40am. He weighed a whopping 10lbs 10oz and is 22” long. He has very strong lungs, as proved by his strong vocal styling’s. These are some of the pictures from the day he was born.

I took these pictures at a local park on a September morning to celebrate our family and to have some pictures to send to people for Christmas.

Alina's mom spent a few weeks with us after Isaiah was born to help us adjust to the larger size of our family. Before she left we went to the park to take some pictures. It was a race against the sunset, but Alina managed to capture some really good pictures.

My brother Tim was out for a visit in February of 2009 and we had a great time. We didn't have any pictures of Rachael and Tim (her uncle), so we decided to go to the park to take some pictures. We probably should have planned a little better, because Rachael wasn't really dressed for the occasion, but the pictures are special anyway.

It was the last weekend of our family being three and we decided to take the opportunity to get out one last time and make the day all about Rachael, as she is going to have to learn to share our time now. We went to Arbor Hills park in Plano to walk around (or in Alina’s case: hobble), and take pictures and just have some fun. It was a great time and I had great success with my new camera.

About the Author

I believe that God is the absolute most important thing in existence; He is the first and best of all. And is deserving of all of our love. In Him is fullness of joy. Much of my thoughts and writings on this blog are a way for me to think through and struggle with certain spiritual truths where I may continue to fail, or where I see the church as failing. I believe that if Jesus is central in our lives, we will live with love and compassion to the lost and hurting and we will love them like Jesus loved us.
