A couple of months ago I finished up work on my mom’s new website. The old one was very busy and not a very good professional representation of the art that she does. My thought with the new one was to make it much more professional and have more of a feel of mosaic art. I wanted to feature more of her art as well as make it more usable.
For the back end, I use XML files for much of the content so that she can easily add and rearrange items without having to get into any coding.
My mom uses her maiden name for her mosaic business because it is Italian and therefore more related to the Italian mosaics of old.
She has a bunch of pieces for sale and does commissions as well.
