Disciple is one of those Christian groups that causes controversy for their album covers and tattoos. Some people feel that they don’t give off the positive image that, as Christians, we should give off. Most of their music is heavy metal, so the lyrics are a little hard to understand without the text of them to read, but once you understand the words, all of the skepticism that might have existed before will probably pass.
I found a video that some guy put together on youtube based on Disciple’s song “After the World”. The song is sung from the perspective of Jesus, and features a bunch of different pictures that kind of bring home the message of the song (it is not the actual music video, I haven’t seen that yet). Anyway, check it out.
And, yes, before you say anything, God knew us from conception, not just birth. I figure that that would be a hard word to make fit into a song. Anyway, on Disciple’s website, they use three verses to make the point of their song:
