A First Pumpkin Carving

Well, last night Alina carved her first pumpkin ever on the same night that Rachael carved (or watched as we carved) her first. It is interesting though to note the lack of creativity that I have, having carved probably twenty or more pumpkins (yes, my mom let me play with sharp knives when I was only 5 years old, just kidding). Alina’s was pretty good, a lot more creative than mine. And thinking of it now, we both carved pumpkins that would identify with who we are , Alina’s was goofy, and mine was, well, XBOX. (Yeah I know, I need help).

About Dustin Wright

I believe that God is the absolute most important thing in existence; He is the first and best of all. And is deserving of all of our love. In Him is fullness of joy. Much of my thoughts and writings on this blog are a way for me to think through and struggle with certain spiritual truths where I may continue to fail, or where I see the church as failing. I believe that if Jesus is central in our lives, we will live with love and compassion to the lost and hurting and we will love them like Jesus loved us.
